Licensing Overview

Licensing Overview

Licensing components

Solutions delivered by Enxoo are typically assembled from multiple individual apps, each subject to individual licensing terms. Required licensing components are proposed during the normal sales process by our solution engineering teams.

Below is a list of different licensing components

  • Enxoo BSS license - provides access to Enxoo BSS - core package.

  • Enxoo Documents license - provides access to Enxoo Documents package.

  • Enxoo Billing license - provides access to Enxoo Billing package.

In general Enxoo follows SaaS licensing model (very similar to Salesforce) with per user / per month license pricing. For some use-cases we sometimes propose a volume-based model where license pricing is derived from the number of CSP’s active subscribers.

License types

Enxoo follows Salesforce license types providing licenses for:

  • Standard Users - internal user having access to internal Enxoo features

  • Customer Community Users - external customer user having access to Customer Community portal

    • Member-based - for named customer users

    • Login-based - for a number of logins monthly, where login event is unique login by a specific user within 24h period

Licensing models

Enxoo is an ISV solution built on Salesforce Platform and there are two models to subscribe app like Enxoo allowed by Salesforce: ISVForce & OEM. Enxoo is both ISVForce & OEM partner, so we have flexibility to suggest the best model for a specific case.

  • ISVForce model is best suited for existing Salesforce customers who are already using Salesforce as their CRM. In the ISVForce model every user of Enxoo app must have a matching Salesforce license (purchased directly from Salesforce - Enxoo is not able to re-sell Salesforce licenses)
Example 1: Sales Users who need access to CPQ quoting module need to have Enxoo license as well as at least Salesforce Sales Cloud license
Example 2: Delivery Users who need access to order management module need to have Enxoo license as well as at least Salesforce Platform license

  • OEM model is suited for customers who are only willing to subscribe Enxoo app, without subscribing to Salesforce. In the OEM model Enxoo is reselling built-in Salesforce Platform licenses together with the Enxoo app. Subscriber will have access to all Enxoo objects as well as a few standard Salesforce Platform objects (like Account, Contact - full list of objects is outlined here: ISVForce Guide). Subscriber is also able to build up to 10 custom objects to support Enxoo package implementation. It’s also possible to extend Enxoo licenses with standard Salesforce licenses (e.g. for a subset of users)
Example 1: Sales Users who need access to CPQ quoting module can have only Enxoo license, but they might also get standard Salesforce Sales Cloud license to get access to Leads & Opportunities
Example 2: Delivery Users who need access to order management module can have only Enxoo license

ISVForce vs. OEM model comparison

ISVForce

OEM

ISVForce

OEM

Pros

  • Full solution scope

  • No need to have standard Salesforce licenses for app users resulting in a lower TCO

  • Enxoo can resell certain Salesforce products, including Customer Community, simplifying contracting

Cons

  • Higher TCO

  • Enxoo is not able to resell Salesforce products, which requires to have a matching Salesforce license for every Enxoo license

  • OEM doesn’t have standard Salesforce functionalities provided by Sales, Service Clouds (i.e. Lead, Opportunity Management)

What’s included in the Subscription

Enxoo subscription covers:

  • Access to the application

  • Access to the Knowledge Base & training materials

  • Access to Enxoo Customer Success Manager
