BSS Resources Pricing - Standard Flat Pricing

Resources are the technical elements of the product decomposition. In order to enable zero-touch feasibility process, the list of resources and its prices have to be known for each product that is submitted for feasibility. Resource Pricing Strategy allows the Administrator to set pricing for each resource to minimize the amount of manual work done during feasibility study.

Enxoo BSS package comes with a predefined strategy of managing resource prices - Standard Flat Pricing. It is based on the flat price (OTE, MRE, or CAPEX) specified on the Resource level. When the Resources are converted into the Cost Items, such a price is automatically assigned.

Once you defined the BSS Resources and selected the Resource Pricing Strategy as Standard Flat Pricing, you can assign the price to each of the resources. To do so, please follow the steps below:

Step 1. Open the Resource record.

Step 2. Click the Edit button.

Step 3. In the Pricing Details section, set the field Resource Pricing Strategy as Standard Flat Pricing. Then, define the price, using Resource Price CAPEX, Resource Price OTE, or Resource Price MRE fields. You can also use the Resource Price Type field, to mark whether the price is budgetary or firm.

Budgetary prices need to be confirmed with vendors before proceeding with the Quote. Cost Items with firm prices can be used to generate an Order.

Step 4. Click the Save button.
