Since a lot of sales in the Wholesale Carrier segment involves purchasing certain solution components from 3rd parties (either Hardware or Local Access) - Enxoo BSS has built in Vendor Management module that supports that process. It allows to manage a database of vendors and automate sourcing & procurement processes with Bid Management feature.

Vendors Database

Vendors are stored in Salesforce as Account records (with a set of dedicated fields, i.e. status, service offering, coverage, rating).

Solution Component Bid Management

As part of the costing process, under Solution Components (also known as cost items) it’s possible to create Bids that will contain information about request for quotation sent to third party vendors.

When issuing a Bid to a particular vendor - it’s possible to dispatch an email with a link to bid response form.

Contact person at vendor side receives such email and can get into Bid Management site to provide quote information that flows directly into the system.
